Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) fc pertotal's Tony Degraef started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heiko Pinksteren came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play forced fc pertotal's goalkeeper Heiko Pinksteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Degraef received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Degraef slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Verheije in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of fc pertotal booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes fc pertotal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Chandler Bing hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes in the game Frank Vermeulen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joop Hennes. 36 minutes into the match, Chandler Bing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chandler Bing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Heiko Pinksteren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 40th play minute Tony Degraef came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 4-1. Frank Vermeulen's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Vermeulen helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Vermeulen hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Heiko Pinksteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of the match.

Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Tony Degraef had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Degraef was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 58th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Pinksteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Degraef in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Heiko Pinksteren made a huge save. fc pertotal made a substitution. Youri Spailer replaced Tony Degraef. After 80 played minutes fc pertotal got a freekick which was hit by Abel Keuppens. After a rather tough play, fc pertotal's Abel Keuppens got a free kick in the 82nd minute. fc pertotal's Youri Spailer got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Rudy Verheije ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 88th match minute, fc pertotal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Horemans to maneuver through the defense. fc pertotal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
