Hüsamettin Civanmert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Michele AFC reached it. Edgard Galván's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Galván helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Colombia booed when San Michele AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Galván didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Motta Rello. Motta Rello yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ziemowit Kinic struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Michele AFC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
