The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zestoa FT's Slawomir Brysz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludvig Hedling in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Arribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Slawomir Brysz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Slawomir Brysz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slawomir Brysz in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Zestoa FT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Hedling to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When Zestoa FT's Slawomir Brysz in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zestoa FT's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jose Correa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! 43 minutes into the game, Santxo Campoamor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Santxo Campoamor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. A collision led to Zestoa FT getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santxo Campoamor hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Ludvig Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zestoa FT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Hedling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Llorienzo Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludvig Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Slawomir Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Frenzel in the 94th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zestoa FT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
