When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of 卓洲亦. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 卓振阳 during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 卓振阳 hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 卓洲亦 was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行's zone, Luz Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 卓洲亦 came out of the goal and Luz Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Lop in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓洲亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. Fatih Kabakchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The 『盛世メ名門』泗海任我行 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
