Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Richie Puch got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Wielowiejski in the 6th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Łukasz Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play forced Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Łukasz Fabiański made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Łukasz Fabiański having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Łukasz Fabiański saved Gwarek Zabrze from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Łukasz Fabiański was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gwarek Zabrze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Łukasz Fabiański quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwarek Zabrze's Dariusz Pietrasz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 38th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Łukasz Fabiański tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Łukasz Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play. Łukasz Fabiański showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of the match. The Gwarek Zabrze players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pawel Wielowiejski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Gwarek Zabrze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Paraszczuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Łukasz Fabiański showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Łukasz Fabiański made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 77 minutes into the match, Gwarek Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Łukasz Fabiański having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Wielowiejski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Łukasz Fabiański having to interfere. Roch Maciejewski's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roch Maciejewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gwarek Zabrze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Maciejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd play minute Lautaro Mancebo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Łukasz Fabiański. 1-4. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico played a much better game than Gwarek Zabrze and deserved their victory. The Gwarek Zabrze players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
