Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 7th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Di Röe's Sten Melberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. George Kristiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Melberg in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Kristiansson. Di Röe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Alan Tamayo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and George Kristiansson quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bedih Rafet hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Bin Le to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Di Röe defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Kristiansson. The Di Röe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Kristiansson should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herman Benett was slow to take the kick. During this time Di Röe's players had a chance to rest. After 54 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Malte Hedström. Malte Hedström stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Chile's defenders and the ball went out. Di Röe appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 61st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Di Röe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Pedro Indiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and George Kristiansson quite easily take care of the ball. George Kristiansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute. Di Röe made a substitution. Knut Engström replaced Elliot Kellbom. Di Röe made a substitution. Arnaldo da Fonseca replaced Sten Melberg. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerard Tan struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gerard Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Di Röe's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Engström came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Di Röe's George Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Zhu Bin Le got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arnaldo da Fonseca scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 93rd minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Di Röe had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
