After a defensive mix-up in Youth Academy Of Rhye's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Vallin came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Brun in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adam Brun hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Gottfrid Sundin in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 39th minute, Niclas Beneth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Vallin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adam Brun made the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when Youth Academy Of Rhye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Vallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes in the game, Sebastian Villa dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Gottfrid Sundin made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Youth Academy Of Rhye succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
