But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leroy Vera couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Cometuétano's Argenis Coira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Alejandro Sevilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Sevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute, Zigor Barroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Leroy Vera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. In the 27th minute, Zigor Barroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Cometuétano's Antoni Paris got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jamaica's goalie prevented a goal. Zigor Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigor Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Cometuétano's Miks Lecis got control of the ball when Jarell Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Argenis Coira came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zigor Barroso to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finlay Stair to maneuver through the defense. With splendid footwork Argenis Coira arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-8 by the left pole in the game's 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 64th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Zigor Barroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Argenis Coira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigor Barroso in the 73rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Cometuétano's Demonde Jacobson threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Argenis Coira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Cometuétano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aliecer Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anxelu Esteban came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cometuétano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anxelu Esteban couldn't finish the play. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Kepa Portillo sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Demonde Jacobson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Zigor Barroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigor Barroso.
