After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Alejandro Sevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Alejandro Sevilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Argenis Coira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Paris in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Cometuétano's Antoni Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 34 minutes into the match, Leroy Vera notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Argenis Coira notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Cometuétano played a much better game than Haiti and deserved their victory. The Haiti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
