Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 8th minute. Mexico's Luca Rouco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebald Biermann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Mexico's Luca Zorita, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebald Biermann having to make a save. Sebald Biermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ralph Olano de, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Pharos Alexandria F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. 楚益寒 hit a great ball. Sebald Biermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Olano de came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maik Chakravorty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 32nd minute of the match, 许奕广 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 36th minute 许奕广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s goalkeeper Sebald Biermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebald Biermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebald Biermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pharos Alexandria F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralph Olano de stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ralph Olano de made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sebald Biermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Olano de came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Joel Gaona had to leave the field with a concussion. Raphael Klomfaß charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Klomfaß the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Raphael Klomfaß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Bautista Elvira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Biermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sebald Biermann to make any attempt to save it. After 85 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. After having played for 85 minutes, Maik Chakravorty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maik Chakravorty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maik Chakravorty who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Maik Chakravorty almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Mielich in the 90th minute of play. Sebald Biermann was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-2. Sebald Biermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bautista Elvira in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
