In the 18th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Harkujärve JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taavet Vest stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Harkujärve JK's Jiang Yu Bang got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odin Son read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Eimar Kraut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Eimar Kraut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harkujärve JK's Carcelén Vicente was substituted for Tambet Org. Julian Murillo in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Odin Son, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Peru booed when Harkujärve JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Yu Bang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odin Son was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Odin Son showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harkujärve JK's goalkeeper Odin Son, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Harkujärve JK defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Odin Son. The Harkujärve JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Odin Son should have stopped the shot. Odin Son made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Bastian Schweinsteiger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 89th minute Eimar Kraut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Harkujärve JK's goalkeeper Odin Son had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. Harkujärve JK's Odin Son proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Harkujärve JK from getting a goal against them. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
