Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peng Xiong's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Crottos Crotters F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomero Mateo took the corner. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Baldomero Mateo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Damian Diagur got a free kick in the 16th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Xiong in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Angel Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Breckenfeld in the 37th minute. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peng Xiong in the 39th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Peng Xiong. But to his dismay, Peng Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Adilson Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peng Xiong to strike the kick off in the second half. Peng Xiong kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peng Xiong to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peng Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crottos Crotters F.C. were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomero Mateo took the corner. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Baldomero Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Crottos Crotters F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Mateo couldn't finish the play. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Xiong in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Crottos Crotters F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Baldomero Mateo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Peng Xiong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 95th minute of the match Jose Correa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
