If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Joó in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Gábor Joó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Gábor Joó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 25th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koby Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 40 minutes, Monty Rogers made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob May kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gábor Joó stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 63rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Bob Sinclair ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 91st minute of the match Saltuk Peykan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Day showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valencia CF Mindszent fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! 97 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Sinclair came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
