Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Hille IF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Messias came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Paulo Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Paulo Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hille IF's Zé Paulo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Fredrik Käcker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 13th minute of play forced Hille IF's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Tinoco in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Adilson Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Paulo Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurence Stas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christer Ahlroht's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Ahlroht helped the player get up and apologised. Christer Ahlroht hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Adilson Tinoco got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcos Cotilla handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. 65 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Käcker came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Dylan Sarmiento put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Hille IF a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fredrik Käcker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Stas in the 77th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Stas in the 83rd minute of the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Messias saved Hille IF from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Laurence Stas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Stas in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Tinoco came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hille IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
