Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoris Katsafanas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 17 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Garrido came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Joshua Garrido was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cătălin Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. BuanaRaya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pascual Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cătălin Ostoici made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici. Cătălin Ostoici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Dagoberto Furlan in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepijn Hummel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ostoici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Ostoici. BuanaRaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Colombia's attentive Axel Montenegro managed to snatch the ball when Ayi Kusumah made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Carballar in the 58th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ayi Kusumah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. Ayi Kusumah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Pepijn Hummel came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Pepijn Hummel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-3. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Katsafanas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. With 89 minutes on the clock, Samuel Navarro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 88 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Colombia booed when BuanaRaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Pique didn't get a good kick on the ball. BuanaRaya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
