When Gábor Joó came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Valencia CF Mindszent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gábor Joó couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Banaszak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Daniel Banaszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gábor Joó in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Joó in the 20th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valencia CF Mindszent were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Monsanto took the corner. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elek Bognár in the 37th minute. Daniel Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Monsanto.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gábor Joó to strike the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Daniel Banaszak made a huge save. In the 57th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Banaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zach Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. USA's Monty Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valencia CF Mindszent's Dan Beard was substituted for Silvestre Pacorro. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Sebastian Tercero replaced Marcell Kiss. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Elek Bognár got a free kick in the 70th minute. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. 74 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Sinclair came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jenson Smith hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Elek Bognár made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Baker. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Sinclair in the 84th minute of play. Bob Sinclair struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia CF Mindszent. If Bob Sinclair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Valencia CF Mindszent were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of USA for a fine match.
