Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Armando Toppi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match, Federico Frabetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Frabetti's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Federico Frabetti came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Armando Toppi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cacciola's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Bartolomucci came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eugenio Bartolomucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Frabetti in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dario Marziali who took care of the corner kick. If Federico Frabetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Cacciola got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Humă. Emilio Giancola charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Frabetti to make the kick off. In the 68th minute Nunez Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dario Marziali who took care of the corner kick. Cacciola's Emilio Giancola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gaos, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led to Venezuela's Patricio Costa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Toppi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cacciola fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
