Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Romero got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Chile booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Crăciunaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Champions Iasi's Broderick Ceney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Jacinto Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Broderick Ceney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Broderick Ceney. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Romero came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Broderick Ceney saved Champions Iasi from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Chifu. Champions Iasi's Broderick Ceney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gheorghe Chifu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Broderick Ceney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Broderick Ceney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Jacinto Romero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eusebiu Crăciunaș hit a great ball. Champions Iasi's Broderick Ceney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ryan Giggs sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Broderick Ceney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Broderick Ceney in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Stefan Pieters:s penalty. 3-1 came in the 84th minute when Stefan Pieters all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Broderick Ceney in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
