The tension between the Costa Rica and the Steelares FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Tasis in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eloy Gartxot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Marcones in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Steelares FC's Nicasio Barea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Emanuel Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Steelares FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Narciso Tab hit a great ball. Amadeo Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Alexander Carballo's late challenge caught a Steelares FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Emanuel Vasco made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Emanuel Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ariel Florinio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Nicasio Barea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 73rd minute of play. Steelares FC made a substitution. Silvestre Adrio replaced Nicasio Barea. Blas Bernabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Steelares FC's Jacobo Gartzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Fabricio Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Steelares FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
