Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Costel Ţintă made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Costel Ţintă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Costel Ţintă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Costel Ţintă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Zenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Costel Ţintă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alex Vrânceanu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Costel Ţintăs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Zenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costel Ţintă scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Traian Uzuneanu replaced Augustin Vergulescu. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Octav Vătăşel replaced Dan Tinu. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fabian Mihuț hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Tony Dobos put in a rough tackle. Tony Dobos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Walter Zenga in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octav Vătăşel might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octav Vătăşel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Scorpions -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
