Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jerónimo Souto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerónimo Souto got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofil Trela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 57th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Jacinto Bastiaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pogipool Olsztyn and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes FC Pogipool Olsztyn got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Bastiaro. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Erlantz in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Conrado Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Pogipool Olsztyn made a substitution. Jiang Lang Kun replaced Conrado Javiar. In the 82nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 95thth minute of the game Aquiles Erlantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Lang Kun in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Pogipool Olsztyn had played much better football throughout.
