Maicon Pontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Meelis Vananurm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meelis Vananurm. The ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meelis Vananurm should have stopped the shot. Meelis Vananurm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Meelis Vananurm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Pontes in the 66th minute of play. Meelis Vananurm came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Meelis Vananurm made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lindi Mena in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Meelis Vananurm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. In the 78th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Meelis Vananurm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Meelis Vananurm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Pontes in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meelis Vananurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meelis Vananurm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Justin in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. After 87 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 89th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meelis Vananurm having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 93 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute, Marcin Wasilewski made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź.
