FC Pogipool Olsztyn's Teofil Trela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pogipool Olsztyn from getting a goal against them. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 46 minutes into the match, FC Pogipool Olsztyn's goalkeeper Teofil Trela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Erlantz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Conrado Javiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Pogipool Olsztyn's Conrado Javiar in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofil Trela. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerónimo Souto got free with Julio Vera in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Szilveszter Vörös hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Pogipool Olsztyn made a substitution. Ignacy Dunajski replaced Lucjan Cerocki. After 80 played minutes FC Pogipool Olsztyn got a freekick which was hit by Szilveszter Vörös. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerónimo Souto came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 87th minute of play forced FC Pogipool Olsztyn's goalkeeper Teofil Trela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zula Erland in the 97th minute. Zula Erland made a great header on FC Pogipool Olsztyn's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save.
