Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Cutberto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Cutberto came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Linqvist let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Signoretti in the 22nd minute of play. If Mats Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Olivar got free with Rolando Noboa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Linqvist in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Mats Linqvist. But to his dismay, Mats Linqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Valeryan Bochkin hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Godefroid, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Florencio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Gilbert Godefroid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Signoretti in the 78th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Florencio Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Florencio Cutberto to make any attempt to save it. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Linqvist in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
