Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Molin in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hampus Albohm made a huge save. Bror Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's goalkeeper Hampus Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Rein Douwes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Rein Douwes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rein Douwes might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rein Douwes ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Douwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Hampus Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hampus Albohm made a huge save. Hampus Albohm made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Orvar Hedlund's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvar Hedlund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Nolmyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bror Sundström to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Nolmyra FC's Rein Douwes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Douwes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hampus Albohm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Sundström in the 64th minute of the match. Nolmyra FC's Rein Douwes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hampus Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hampus Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bror Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Nolmyra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a Nolmyra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Vit Röd fired a really elegant long shot, but Julio Vera threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Bror Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
