Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Homero Thomson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Homero Thomson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 11th minute. Daniel Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, TZILACATZIN's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Cabrera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Daniel Cabrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Edinho Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edinho Lira. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 60th minute of play. Jose Carita got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felipe Ros. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Homero Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homero Thomson in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cabrera came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Cabrera's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 76th minute. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edinho Lira could save by the left post. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edinho Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Aaron Barrios put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 82nd minute. TZILACATZIN's Victoriano Distiratsu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Homero Thomson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. TZILACATZIN made a substitution. Salvadore González replaced Homero Thomson. After 89 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Homero Thomson. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 91st minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvadore González, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
