Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Healey McLian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevinn Mulvihill in the 6th minute. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Healey McLian took the corner. Healey McLian made a great header on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 9th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bivitas Duggan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 12th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Fryderyk Lepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fryderyk Lepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Fryderyk Lepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aengus Duggan sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Coileán McAlphie came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kaine McLian got a free kick in the 45th minute. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Aengus Duggan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Scott Colwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Scott Colwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Aengus Duggan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aengus Duggan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Scott Colwell came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Zawisza Bydgoszcz defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fryderyk Lepper. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fryderyk Lepper should have stopped the shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute of play. After 84 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Aengus Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fryderyk Lepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aengus Duggan's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zawisza Bydgoszcz fully deserved thier win.
