The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Rodriguinho Loureiro in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. 张飞 in the 8th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Michel Luz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Loureiro made a huge save. Ivar Åkesson hit a great ball. Rodriguinho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rodriguinho Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 36 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. 张飞 came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodriguinho Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Loureiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Luz in the 45th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rodriguinho Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rodriguinho Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.J. 张飞 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling A.J. 张飞 in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The nice shot from Michel Luz in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marco Day had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Rodriguinho Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Monty Rogers in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Campbell in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Loureiro saved Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ from getting behind. Rodriguinho Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rodriguinho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 83rd minute of play. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of USA:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khalid Parry in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Loureiro saved Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ from getting behind. After 97 played minutes Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tomé da Silva. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
