The Last Try
Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 2nd minute of play. Vladimiro Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasile Pisculescu in the 9th minute. In the 16th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Ramon Ignatius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Ramon Ignatius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vladimiro Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Orlando Casaus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Socorro was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Vladimiro Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Ignatius to make the kick off. The throw-in from Celestino Nisio in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Vladimiro Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 52nd minute. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Socorro having to make a save. Vladimiro Socorro made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Vladimiro Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vladimiro Socorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El ultimo's Bernabe Lucero was substituted for Ke Xiang. With a little luck, El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vladimiro Socorro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Socorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celestino Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Vladimiro Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El ultimo were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
