Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Barovero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute 胡亦旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Roberto Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Barovero having to interfere.
