Zdzislaw Walczyk's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdzislaw Walczyk helped the player get up and apologised. Zdzislaw Walczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Wasyl Dec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Isidoro Sarmiento succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 13th playminute. After having played for 17 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakub Fujarczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 20th minute of play. Silesia Opole's Jakub Fujarczuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakub Fujarczuk. Silesia Opole's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakub Fujarczuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Wasyl Dec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silesia Opole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wasyl Dec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Jakub Fujarczuk in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Silesia Opole fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Silesia Opole's Wasyl Dec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the match, Silesia Opole's goalkeeper Jakub Fujarczuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Isidoro Sarmientos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jakub Fujarczuk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 41 played minutes Silesia Opole got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Kilar. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Walczyk in the 55th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jakub Fujarczuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Lukasik during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Silesia Opole got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Lukasik. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Julian Gozdowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Julian Gozdowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Fujarczuk having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kempka, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jakub Fujarczuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes Silesia Opole's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. In the 70th minute, Wasyl Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Fujarczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Silesia Opole booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silesia Opole's Julian Gozdowski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcos Cotilla but with some difficulty. 84 minutes into the match, Silesia Opole's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Jakub Fujarczuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakub Fujarczuk. Silesia Opole's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Alex Cambeiro fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
