After 51 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. In the 62nd minute, Santino Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kamal Pahlevi. The goal made the score 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jonatan Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Raymundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Raymundo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Tirant lo Blanch had been in control for most of the match, Colombia still came away with the win.
