Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ciprian Caba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cisco Rubial, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Hermansson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Hermansson got free with Dante Lacasa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 21 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Tusk in the 24th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cisco Rubial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Caba in the 39th minute of play. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Caba came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cisco Rubial made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Erik Hermansson made a kick off. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Sven-Erik Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Ony's Pompiliu Traian was substituted for Cristian Banciu. Cisco Rubial made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Ciprian Caba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cisco Rubial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cisco Rubial. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 89th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cisco Rubial. Cisco Rubial yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
