An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Crespo in the 30th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Ariel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Ariel Jesus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LosPibardos F.C were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Jesus was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Pau Crespo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Mexico booed when LosPibardos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pau Crespo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
