After 8 minutes, Ahmet Ege Tokyürek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOPAL SOLUCAN and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Ahmet Ege Tokyürek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Honduras's goalie and right to Marian Cenușă. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Honduras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 18 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aşık Arslangiray, 1-0. TOPAL SOLUCAN's Aşık Arslangiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of TOPAL SOLUCAN booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play forced TOPAL SOLUCAN's goalkeeper Aşık Arslangiray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franciszek Dembowski went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Aşık Arslangiray in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that TOPAL SOLUCAN's Aşık Arslangiray managed to reach the ball for a save. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Dembowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Aşık Arslangiray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 70th minute Sebastian Villa suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 70 minutes into the game, Hakkı Deniz Sadullah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TOPAL SOLUCAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Aşık Arslangiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Costa in the 73rd minute of the match. Aşık Arslangiray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Franciszek Dembowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Franciszek Dembowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOPAL SOLUCAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franciszek Dembowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOPAL SOLUCAN's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aşık Arslangiray saved TOPAL SOLUCAN from getting behind. Franciszek Dembowski in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd minute, Franciszek Dembowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
