In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's goalkeeper Sezai Doğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Sezai Doğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eilif Rosholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Sezai Doğan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 36 minutes in the game, Felix Montes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abidin Camcı in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hasan Hüseyin Niyazi who took care of the corner kick. Sezai Doğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes of play, Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Eilif Rosholm made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezai Doğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezai Doğan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezai Doğan having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eilif Rosholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sezai Doğan made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sezai Doğan made a huge save. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 80th playminute. Sezai Doğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sezai Doğan. Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ecuador played a much better game than Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89 and deserved their victory. The Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
