The supporters of KD Stiger booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Olofsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Blixt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
