A wasted opportunity for FC CSKA. 27 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Arnulfo Roderigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jax Williamson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute, Arnulfo Roderigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Refik Ülgüs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jax Williamson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 38 minutes, Ren Yan Qing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC CSKA and the Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ren Yan Qing kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Roderigo made a kick off. Georgi Velinov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luka Harris's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. FC CSKA made a substitution. Asparuh Genovski replaced Ahmet Refik Ülgü. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bradley de Nooijer was slow to take the kick. During this time FC CSKA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bradley de Nooijer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jax Williamson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Edwards in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georgi Velinov saved FC CSKA from getting behind. Asparuh Genovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jax Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Burton got free with Georgi Velinov in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Edwards succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Roderigo in the 90th minute of play.
