Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cassius Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 2nd minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Georgi Velinov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Georgi Velinov made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Yanchev in the 11th minute of play. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Dzhalev in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Bradley de Nooijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Bradley de Nooijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Georgi Velinov made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Roderigo to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Roderigo came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 58th minute of play. USA's Monty Rogers managed to work through FC CSKA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Monty Rogers dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Georgi Velinov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Khalid Parry took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georgi Velinov. Georgi Velinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 97th minute of the match.
