An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 7th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ACF Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Luka Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Canada's corner Koby Wright fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Kalinowski quite easily take care of the ball. Alfred John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ACF Fiorentina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canada were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koby Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rohan Watson scored 0-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Kalinowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Kalinowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carter George showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. ACF Fiorentina's Hernán Leandro was substituted for Maximino Cabezon. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ACF Fiorentina.
