In the 41st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 柳响城 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lionel 柯景俊 hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in 【№1】〓战神〓创世纪's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱风迪 came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 朱风迪 having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 朱风迪 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which 朱风迪 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 朱风迪 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of 朱风迪. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柳响城 in the 80th minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
