The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Mazurkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ciprian Toma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Ciprian Toma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, 吴飞棋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor.
