Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bolivia's Mario Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alfredo Ferrant reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cazimir Marincean. The goal made the score 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Alexandru Maghear was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC POLI TIMISOARA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. After 6 played minutes FC POLI TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Maghear. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Bolivia. Mario Fernandino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Marincean. 2-0. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Nestor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Robert Nestor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Nestor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Marincean having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Maghear in the 19th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. 30 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Maghear came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Tărău scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Stelea during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of FC POLI TIMISOARA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bolivia:s goal. FC POLI TIMISOARA:s Cazimir Marincean showed great skill when he stopped Mario Fernandino:s penalty. Mario Fernandino did an outstanding performance 45 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Cazimir Marincean in the goal.

The throw-in from Albert Stelea in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz. 56 minutes into the match, Alfonso de la Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Marincean. FC POLI TIMISOARA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso de la Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Albert Stelea got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 59th minute, Albert Stelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Alfonso de la Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Marincean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Oroian hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cazimir Marincean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso de la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. Alexandru Maghear recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolivia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
