Andreas King struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåge BF. In the 17th minute, Lars-Erik Wik made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Backman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kåge BF the free kick. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kåge BF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luca Moți hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Lars-Erik Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Wik in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Kåge BF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hjalmar Spetz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hjalmar Spetz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The supporters of Kåge BF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Backman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th minute Andreas King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Wik scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 91st match minute, Kåge BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Moți to maneuver through the defense. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kåge BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
