In the 10th minute Edgar Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Edgar Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes MALAIA FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute, Edgar Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tasso in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 29th minute of play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lubomír Meszároš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lubomír Meszároš went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lubomír Meszároš hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Lubomír Meszároš made the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vitinho Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Basaik in the 71st minute of the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romildo Binder in the 76th minute of play. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MALAIA FDFDF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
