Dorin Păstrăv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Dorin Păstrăv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorin Păstrăv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Pencu in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Dorin Păstrăv. Dorin Păstrăv was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gavril Gâfu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gavril Gâfu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Ivan Pencu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play forced CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Dorin Păstrăv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Dorin Păstrăv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save CRAIOVA JUNIOR from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dorin Păstrăv made a huge save. The supporters of CRAIOVA JUNIOR booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
