Infidels F.C's Irakliy Ozhogin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Bufi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Joel Bufi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Infidels F.C's goalkeeper Irakliy Ozhogin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Infidels F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Irakliy Ozhogin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irakliy Ozhogin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Bufi in the 31st minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Bufi to make the kick off. The Infidels F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irakliy Ozhogin should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Söderström hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Infidels F.C's Joel Bufi. But to his dismay, Joel Bufi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Joel Bufi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infidels F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Bufi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Joel Bufi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
