With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Pan Yan Rong tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pan Yan Rong in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Georg Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Pan Yan Rong came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Matildo Watkins in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Säfvahöjden's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
