Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HEJA ESLÖV's Björn Wallgren. In the 9th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the HEJA ESLÖV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Valter Pedersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HEJA ESLÖV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 13th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Leonard Lustig was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. HEJA ESLÖV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Per Ljungberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. HEJA ESLÖV's Björn Wallgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 32 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Abel Carballo in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Algot Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Grubb having to interfere. Gabriel Grubb made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lustig in the 65th minute of play. Sverker Persson spun around in front of the goal 66 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Costa Rica's goal. 79 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HEJA ESLÖV the free kick. After 79 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. In the 80th minute, Björn Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 85th minute when Algot Abrahamsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm suffered a concussion after 91 minutes and had to leave the field. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a HEJA ESLÖV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HEJA ESLÖV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costa Rica for a fine match.
