Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zavier Reveco in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorencio Atienza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Mariachi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Flores to maneuver through the defense. Lorencio Atienza made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Mariachi FC's Zavier Reveco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariachi FC reached it. Lorencio Atienza came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lorencio Atienza came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's goalkeeper Lorencio Atienza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Lorencio Atienza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Cristiano Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariachi FC's Lorencio Atienza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 51st minute Jeraldo Duñabeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainerio Tassara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorencio Atienza having to make a save. After having played for 57 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorencio Atienza having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rainerio Tassara. In the 66th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeraldo Duñabeitia in the 67th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mariachi FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorencio Atienza came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorencio Atienza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 72nd minute of the match. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Arbieto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 76 minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeraldo Duñabeitia in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorencio Atienza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Mariachi FC's goalkeeper Lorencio Atienza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rainerio Tassara sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
